Great place to spend a day or three. Excellent loop trail for biking, hiking, and running. Also connects to the Wild Azalea trail. There is a nice big area by the lake with picnic tables and a small beach. Campground is nice. I enjoy the relative solitude in the primitive camping area.
Lovely park with a well-maintained 12-mile loop trail. Perfect place to get away and spend time outdoors. The lake provides great breezes for camping. I love coming here!
I enjoy walking the Kinkaid Loop, well marked, with Mile markers every half mile. You meet the coolest people and can enjoy the lookout points, boating, or camping sites.
Me and my kids went for the first time and loved it. Kept up very nice and the water actually was clear and clean. We enjoyed it even in the rain. Every picnic table had little gazebo like covers so rain and sun shine we enjoyed every minute. Only thing was that we didn't understand the payment process because no one was at the stand so we just filled an envelope up and dropped it lol
Secluded, peaceful. Everyone gets quiet around 8pm. Playground is good for kids. Beach is clean and fun during the summer months when it's open. Our favorite place to camp.
